- Today we're going to be talking about food, grocery shopping and eating out.
- Question number one.
- What is your favourite food?
- My favourite food is pasta because you can eat it with cheese or tuna or vegetables and you can eat it hot or cold.
- Question number two.
- Which foods...
- don't you like?
- I don't like broccoli.
- It's green and it tastes disgusting.
- But I do like other green vegetables.
- Peas and beans and cabbage, for example.
- Question number three.
- Do you prefer eating healthy or unhealthy food?
- I prefer eating healthy food But sometimes I like to eat unhealthy food.
- I go to McDonald's and I will eat a hamburger and chips or nuggets.
- Question number four.
- What type of food do you normally cook at home?
- I normally cook pasta or spaghetti with meat or tuna and salad.
- Question number five.
- Do you like trying new foods?
- No, I don't like trying new foods.
- I like to always eat the same foods because I know that I enjoy them.
- Question number six.
- What foods have you tried recently?
- Recently, I bought some hot tomato sauce, which I put on my salad and it was very hot and spicy.
- Normally I wouldn't eat spicy food, but I wanted to try this sauce and I enjoyed it.
- Question number seven.
- Do you like going grocery shopping?
- Yes, I do.
- I enjoy looking at all the fruits and vegetables that are available and looking for the best prices on that day.
- Question number eight.
- How much do you normally spend when you go shopping?
- I normally spend about £20 each time I go shopping because I like to go shopping two or three times a week.
- There are a lot of different supermarkets in England.
- So in one supermarket I would buy my fruit and vegetables but I prefer the bread and cakes in a different supermarket.
- So I will go there a different day.
- How often do you eat out?
- I very rarely eat out because I like to cook at home and eating out can be very expensive.
- When I do go out, I prefer to have fish and chips or sometimes we order in a Chinese takeaway.
- And the final question...
- What are some typical British foods that you have often?
- Well, we often have potatoes, peas, cabbage, carrots, a lot of vegetables.
- And we also like to eat pies occasionally.
- For example, a chicken pie or a cheese and onion pie.
- Like I said before, when we go out we also enjoy eating fish and chips.
