  2. There are lots of pets that you can have.
  3. The most popular pets in the United Kingdom are dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish and birds.
  4. Other pets that people can have are snakes, lizards, tortoises and parrots, but they aren't so popular.
  5. What pets do people have in your country?
  6. People have pets because they can play with them, go for a walk with them, hug and kiss them, and do a lot of things with them.
  7. Pets are like friends or family for some people.
  8. They make a lot of people happy.
  9. In the United Kingdom, 50% of people have a pet, so there are a lot of pets in the country.
  10. there are 10 million dogs and 11 million cats so there are more cats than dogs when I was a child I had a lot of pets I had cats dogs rabbits hamsters guinea pigs can live outside or in your house in a cage.
  11. They are small pets and they are very fluffy and soft.
  12. They like playing, running and sleeping.
  13. They eat grass and vegetables.
  14. They are easy to look after because you don't need to walk them.
  15. Do you think that rabbits and guinea pigs are good pets?
  16. Snakes, lizards and other reptiles are more difficult to look after.
  17. When I was a child, I had an iguana and a tortoise.
  18. Reptiles need to be warm or hot, not cold.
  19. so it is more difficult to look after them.
  20. Also, some reptiles eat strange foods like insects or small animals like mice.
  21. I loved my iguana and my tortoise because they are amazing animals, but I think that they are not the best pets because they don't give you love.
  22. Birds like parrots or budgies are good pets for some people because they like to play and sing.
  23. Sometimes they are noisy because they sing a lot and make a lot of noise.
  24. They are great pets if you have a garden.
  25. Finally, fish are popular pets because they are easy to look after.
  26. They are beautiful and they are relaxing to look at.
  27. When I was a child, I had a lot of fish in a fish tank in my bedroom.
  28. I loved my fish and I think that they are a great pet for children.
