  1. Hello and welcome to another episode of Elephant English Podcasts.
  2. Today I'm going to be talking about what I did yesterday using regular and irregular forms of the past simple tense.
  3. Yesterday I woke up at 9 o'clock because I was on holiday and I didn't have to go to work.
  4. After I woke up, I got up and I had my breakfast.
  5. I had some cereals and some milk.
  6. Also, I had a cup of tea.
  7. My cat was hungry too, so I gave her some food.
  8. At 9.30, I brushed my teeth, I washed my face, I got dressed and I made my bed.
  9. I wanted to make another YouTube video, so I used my computer and my microphone to record a new video.
  10. I spent about 2 hours on the computer and when I finished, I decided to go for a walk.
  11. I went for a walk around my city and I visited a big park where everyone was having a picnic or taking their dogs for a walk.
  12. I sat down on the grass because the weather was beautiful.
  13. I bought a snack and a drink in one of the supermarkets because I was very hungry.
  14. After I ate my snack, I went back home.
  15. At 3 o'clock I took my cat to the vet.
  16. We put her inside her carrier, which is like a bag for cats, and we walked to the vet.
  17. When we arrived, she meowed a lot.
  18. The vet said that she was very nervous and when she gave her the injection, my cat attacked the vet.
  19. It hurt a lot, but I wasn't surprised because my cat was very scared.
  20. When we finished at the vet's we came home and she slept for 3 hours because she was tired.
  21. She was angry with us but after she slept she was happy.
  22. I started to make dinner at 5.30 so half past 5 and I had dinner at 6 o'clock.
  23. I had lasagna and it was delicious.
  24. While I was eating, I watched the 8th episode of the new Stranger Things season.
  25. I didn't watch the final episode because it was too long.
  26. It was 2 hours.
  27. I thought that the episode was very entertaining, but in general, I think that the series is a little bit repetitive.
  28. After I finished my dinner, I decided to tidy the house a bit because it was untidy.
  29. I tidied the living room and then I washed the dishes and vacuumed the floor.
  30. I didn't mop the floor because my cat was very active and when I normally mop the floor, she walks all over it.
  31. Before I went to bed I had a little snack which is called supper.
  32. I watched the news on TV but afterwards there was nothing else on TV.
  33. Then I played with my cat to make her tired, I put my pyjamas on, I brushed my teeth and I went to bed.
  34. So, today we have talked about what I did yesterday using the past tenses.
