  2. When I arrive at a hotel, I go to reception to check in.
  3. I tell them my name and they give me the key or the card to enter my room.
  4. You need to tell them your name because they need to check the reservation.
  5. Sometimes you have to fill in a form with your name and details like where you live.
  6. You need to sign it too.
  7. If you go to a hotel you can book a single room for one person or a double room for two people.
  8. You can choose a room with a view of the sea, the gardens, the mountains or the pool.
  9. The rooms which have good views are normally more expensive.
  10. If your room is on the first floor, you will need to take the lift or elevator in American English.
  11. The staff working in the reception might ask you if you need some help with your luggage.
  12. Your luggage includes your backpacks and suitcases.
  13. In the room, you can order room service.
  14. Room service is when they bring the food to your room.
  15. But you can also have food in the hotel's restaurant.
  16. I don't like room service.
  17. I prefer to eat at the restaurant, but I think that other people do like it.
  18. When you get to your room, you will see that it has a bathroom and a big room.
  19. There will be a bed and some bedside tables next to the bed.
  20. There will be a minibar with very expensive drinks.
  21. In most hotels there is also a desk and a chair for you to use if you need to work in the room.
  22. There will be a wardrobe.
  23. to put your clothes in and some drawers I usually put everything in the wardrobe not in the drawers because I don't want to forget anything when I leave Hotel rooms also have a TV for you to watch series or movies and a telephone to contact reception.
  24. In the UK there is a kettle, some milk, some coffee and some tea bags in your room so you can have a cup of tea or a cup of coffee and this is normally free.
