- I love staying at a hotel.
- When I arrive at a hotel, I go to reception to check in.
- I tell them my name and they give me the key or the card to enter my room.
- You need to tell them your name because they need to check the reservation.
- Sometimes you have to fill in a form with your name and details like where you live.
- You need to sign it too.
- If you go to a hotel you can book a single room for one person or a double room for two people.
- You can choose a room with a view of the sea, the gardens, the mountains or the pool.
- The rooms which have good views are normally more expensive.
- If your room is on the first floor, you will need to take the lift or elevator in American English.
- The staff working in the reception might ask you if you need some help with your luggage.
- Your luggage includes your backpacks and suitcases.
- In the room, you can order room service.
- Room service is when they bring the food to your room.
- But you can also have food in the hotel's restaurant.
- I don't like room service.
- I prefer to eat at the restaurant, but I think that other people do like it.
- When you get to your room, you will see that it has a bathroom and a big room.
- There will be a bed and some bedside tables next to the bed.

- to put your clothes in and some drawers I usually put everything in the wardrobe not in the drawers because I don't want to forget anything when I leave Hotel rooms also have a TV for you to watch series or movies and a telephone to contact reception.
- In the UK there is a kettle, some milk, some coffee and some tea bags in your room so you can have a cup of tea or a cup of coffee and this is normally free.
