  2. Well, firstly, let me give you this booklet.
  3. It tells you a bit more about the school, the courses
  4. And the social activities we offer.
  5. Now, on the first page,
  6. There's an outline of this morning's activities.
  7. There, you see. The programme starts at ten o'clock.
  8. Try not to be late as it's a very full day.
  9. At ten o'clock, all the new students will gather in the main
  10. Hall to meet the principal and the rest of the staff.
  11. In fact, you spend most of the morning in the main hall.
  12. Where's that? I'll show you in a minute.
  13. Just let me quickly run through this morning's events
  14. First and then I'll explain how to get there.
  15. Yes, OK. Right, where were we?
  16. Yes, so the principal's talk will last about 15 minutes
  17. And then the director of studies will talk to you for half an hour
  18. About the courses and the different requirements for each.
  19. After that, the student advisor will tell you about the various
  20. Services and activities we offer to students. Any questions?

  22. And then you'll go next door to classroom 5 at 11 o'clock.

  33. Look, you came in through the main entrance here
  34. And now we're here at reception.
  35. Now, to get to the main hall,
  36. You walk on to the end of this corridor in front of you
  37. And then you turn left.
  38. Walk along past the language laboratory
  39. And then past the library,
  40. Which is next to the language lab on the same side,
  41. And facing you is the main hall at the end of the corridor.
  42. You can't miss it.
  43. So, it's next to the library, in fact? Yes, that's right.
  44. I should be able to find that.
  45. And... Do you have a computer laboratory?
  46. Yes, we do. Could you tell me where that is? Certainly, yes.
  47. You go down to the end of this corridor again,
  48. But this time don't turn left,
  49. Turn right, away from the main hall.
  50. The computer lab is immediately on your right,
  51. OK? And where's the staff room
  52. In case I need to find a teacher at some stage?
  53. The staff room is near the main entrance,
  54. On the left over there, just opposite the reception desk.
  55. In a day or two,
  56. I'm sure you'll find your way around very easily.
